The only essentials not included for your Oahu elopement are transportation and food, which I will 100% give my recommendations on if you need them! Just bring yourselves and your wedding attire (I LOVE ASOS and Lulus for affordable elopement dresses), and let’s get you MARRIED!

What exactly does “unlimited” photography coverage look like?

So my unlimited coverage is exclusive to your elopement day. AKA the day you actually are saying “I do.” This can look however you want it to, whether that’s 4 hours of coverage and the rest of the day to yourselves, or 14 hours of coverage from the moment you wake up to get ready to the moment you call it a day! For all-day coverage, this doesn’t mean I’m constantly down your throats and telling you to do things. I’m definitely more of a documentary-style photographer, which is a lot less invasive, while still giving guidance when you need/want/the time is right. We can create the right balance for you guys in your custom timeline based on any activities/locations you’re including in your day!

Do I get to choose the inspiration for my hair, makeup, and bouquet?

Absolutely!!! I will book everything for you, take care of payment, and all that jazz. But this is YOUR day! We will discuss exactly what you envision for your elopement and I will send any inspiration to the HMU artists and florist in advance so everything comes together seamlessly on the day of your elopement!

Do I get to choose between an Airbnb or a hotel?

Yep! Hotels on Oahu are primarily in Honolulu/Waikiki or resorts like Turtle Bay or Ko Olina. So if you have a preference between Airbnbs or hotels in general, or a preference of what side of the island to stay (I’ll give you all the geography deets during planning to help you decide), you can just let me know! Then I’ll make a list of options that would be available with my all-inclusive elopement package and you can decide from there!

What if I want additional vendors/activities (i.e. sailboat, picnic, extra florals, special venue, etc.)?

Though the additional costs that come with those things are not included in the all-inclusive elopement package, I do take care of researching the perfect vendors for you, communication, and booking if they are taking place the day of your elopement/photography coverage! I have several connections/vendors I love already for things like sailboat/catamaran tours, ziplining, helicopter tours, luxury beach picnics, VW bus rentals, skydiving, shark diving, you name it! You can find some listed in my Wedding in Oahu blog post. I’ll just send you the invoice/booking link and take care of everything else!

Who is the officiant provided?

The complementary officiant services are provided by me, as I am ordained and registered to perform your marriage ceremony in the state of Hawaii specifically. So yes, I can sign your marriage license! If you would like someone else to officiate, I’m happy to recommend others to you or inform you of the process if you’d like one of your loved ones to get registered and perform your ceremony!

Do we need witnesses?

No witnesses are required to get married in the state of Hawaii! It’s actually included in my top 5 easiest places to elope in the U.S., and this package just makes it even easier!

Why is the all-inclusive elopement package exclusive to Oahu?

I’ll admit, I’m a little biased. Oahu, Hawaii is one of my favorite places in the world and is very near and dear to my heart. It’s where our third child was born and our kids primarily grew up. It’s where I got my confidence back and where my closest friends live. The place I rekindled my relationship with God. The place that reignited my love for photography and I started my business. And the place where I’ve had the most incredible adventures that I love to share with others like you!

Though I may be biased, all those personal things have also made me extremely knowledgeable about the island of Oahu specifically. From knowing the best places to eat, when traffic is at its peak, the best beaches, epic hikes, photography permit information, all the way to the best hospital in case of an emergency! I always put 110% effort into becoming an expert anywhere I’m going to shoot, but Oahu is like my home.

And let’s be real. Oahu speaks for itself. It’s beautiful and warm year-round. There are endless things to do. You can honeymoon in the same place you elope. It’s totally feasible to fly to the other Hawaiian islands on the same trip and see all they have to offer as well. They have the best food ever. You can hike up a mountain and then walk across the street to swim in the ocean. The list goes on and on!
